SAN FRANCISCO - After years of deliberating, San Francisco-based Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold has planted roots in the Sunshine State.

At the start of the new year, attorneys from litigation boutique Gordon, Hargrove and James will officially join Sedgwick, boosting Sedgwick's 400-plus attorney ranks by 20 and giving the firm an office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
