Judicial Council Will Provide Insurance for State's Judges
SAN FRANCISCO - Amid nervousness over public reaction, the state Judicial Council has voted to provide insurance -- at state expense -- for all 2,000 state judges to supply them with defense counsel in any disciplinary proceedings they face before the state Commission on Judicial Performance.
