Longrunning antitrust case recovers $399 million for class members

The last defendant in an antitrust drug case has settled for $225 million, bringing the total recovery to nearly $400 million.

Putting an end to the 17-year-long prescription drug class action that netted nearly $400 million for class members, the remaining defendant in an antitrust lawsuit has agreed to pay $225 million to settle allegations it participated in a scheme that monopolized the price of the antibacterial drug Cipro.
