SAN FRANCISCO-Two new members have been appointed to the Judicial Council, the policymaking body of the courts.
Sen. Ellen Corbett, D-San Leandro, was appointed a legislative member of the council, and former Sen. Joseph Dunn will serve in a new, one-year advisory position.
Corbett was appointed by Sen. Don Perata, D-Oakland, chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, to a term expiring on Dec. 1, 2008....
