IP lawyer recommended for disbarment

Malcolm Wittenberg, an intellectual property lawyer whose license is currently suspended, has been recommended for permanent disbarment by a State Bar Court judge.

Malcolm Wittenberg, an intellectual property lawyer whose license is currently suspended, has been recommended for permanent disbarment by a State Bar Court judge.

Wittenberg, who once chaired the IP group at Crosby Heafey Roach & May PC, was suspended in 2001 after pleading guilty to felony insider trading of a client's stock before a merger had been announced.
