Settlement with NCAA, Electronic Arts finalized after objections dropped

A settlement between student-athletes and defendants Electronic Arts Inc. and the NCAA overcame a final hurdle as objectors dropped their 9th Circuit appeal.

A $60 million settlement reached between former student-athletes and defendants Electronic Arts Inc. and the NCAA has cleared the last remaining obstacle: an alleged "bad faith appeal" filed in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of objectors to the settlement.
