Ad campaign at center of dispute in corn vs. sugar

Plaintiffs allege that corn's ad campaign, which termed high fructose corn syrup "corn sugar" and touted its equivalent health impacts to sugar, is false advertising. The defendants have termed it an "educational campaign" to correct consumer misconceptions and are counter-suing, alleging a prior attack campaign by the sugar industry.
