Neither side bulletproof in appeal over Superman rights

The long-running litigation over the rights to Superman continued Tuesday, as the parties entered the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the second time.

PASADENA - A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel questioned Tuesday the continued contentious dispute over the rights to Superman, as they heard an appeal to a 2013 partial summary judgment in favor of defendants Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and DC Comics Inc.
