Pfizer Will Shell Out $1.9 Billion for Vicuron Pharmaceutical

LOS ANGELES - Pfizer Inc., the world's largest drug company, will pay $1.9 billion to acquire Vicuron Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of new anti-infection medicines.
