State AG's Office Pans for Gold in Mother Lode of High-Court Cases
Supreme Court Column By David F. Pike WASHINGTON - The California attorney general's office is having a banner term at the Supreme Court. Lawyers in the office are arguing seven cases in the court's 2002-03 session. That's nearly 10 percent of the court's cases and five more arguments than any other state attorney general's office. Texas and Michigan have two each.
