Veteran Attorney Bernard M. Silbert Dead at 85

Services for Bernard M. Silbert, a veteran Los Angeles attorney, have taken place. Silbert died Feb. 20. He was 85. "He loved the law, he loved the whole idea of fairness and justice, and he really felt practicing law was a vehicle to bring those concepts alive," his daughter, Susan, said.
