Ex-BART Board Member Sentenced for Bribery

SAN FRANCISCO - A former member of the BART Board of Directors has been sentenced to three years' probation and forbidden to hold elected office during that time based on his guilty plea to soliciting a $2,000 bribe from a firm seeking business with the transit district.
