Kana Communications Nets a Silky Acquisition
Brobeck Phleger KANA COMMUNICATIONS NETS A SILKY ACQUISITION Redwood City's Kana Communications Corp. has agreed to acquire Silknet Software of Manchester, N.H. in a deal valued at more than $4.1 billion. Under the terms of the deal, Silknet will receive 0.83 shares of Kana's stock for each share of Silknet stock. Both parties expect the transaction to be completed during the second quarter of this year.
