A Texas federal judge on Monday ordered a case filed by a Florida-based patent holding company transferred to San Jose, citing a federal appellate court ruling earlier this month that makes it easier for defendants in patent infringement complaints to move cases out of the plaintiff-friendly Eastern District of Texas.
