Judge Retires From Superior Court

Judge Terry Friedman, whose lifelong commitment to public service took him from pro bono work to the Assembly and the Los Angeles County Court, stepped down Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES - Judge Terry Friedman, whose lifelong commitment to public-service work took him from pro bono legal services to the Assembly and the Superior Court, stepped down from the Los Angeles County bench Tuesday.

Friedman, who has spent the past 15 years as a Superior Court judge, will enter the world of alternative dispute resolution in March, when his retirement becomes official....
