Sheriffs Seek Lock on Court Security
About a month after the Administrative Office of the Courts said it was considering taking court security away from sheriffs, a law enforcement lobbyist said he's working on a bill to take security out of the AOC's purview.

SACRAMENTO - A little more than a month after the Administrative Office of the Courts said it was considering taking court security away from sheriffs and creating its own, less expensive, security team, a law enforcement lobbyist said he's appealing to the Legislature to take security out of the AOC's purview.
