Universal Awarded Millions From MP3.com

In another blow to the Internet-based companies that stream music to their customers, a federal judge Wednesday ordered MP3.com to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in damages to Universal Music Group for violating the record company's copyrights by making thousands of CDs available for listening over the Internet.
