L.A. Man Faces Charges in Emulex Securities Fraud
A 23-year-old El Segundo man was arrested Thursday and accused of fabricating a press release that caused the high-tech firm Emulex Corp. to lose $2.2 billion in market value and its investors to lose millions of dollars - all in a wild 16-minute sell-off last Friday before the company was temporarily pulled off the NASDAQ stock market.
