U.S. Patent and Trademark Office outpost to open in San Jose

Lawyers say the satellite, which has been running temporarily in Menlo Park, will help the Alexandria, Va.-based office greater comprehend Silicon Valley technology and its patents.

The first West Coast satellite of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has found a permanent home in San Jose City Hall.


Lawyers say the office, which has been running temporarily in Menlo Park, will help the Alexandria, Va.-based USPTO better comprehend Silicon Valley technology and its patents.
