Senate committee approves San Francisco deputy city attorney's judicial bid

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12-5 Thursday to send San Francisco Deputy City Attorney Vince G. Chhabria to the Senate floor for confirmation as a federal judge in the Northern District of California.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12-5 Thursday to send San Francisco Deputy City Attorney Vince G. Chhabria to the Senate floor for confirmation as a federal judge in the Northern District of California. Chhabria will join two other Bay Area nominees awaiting confirmation.
