Apple-Samsung patent damages retrial begins

The companies are nearly one-third of a billion dollars apart on how much more Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. should pay for infringing Apple Inc.'s patents, attorneys told a jury Wednesday.

SAN JOSE - Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. are nearly one-third of a billion dollars apart on how much more the South Korean company should pay for infringing the Cupertino-based company's patents, attorneys told a jury Wednesday.
