Sanctions 'warranted' against Samsung, Quinn Emanuel in patent case, judge rules

U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal has written that "sanctions are warranted" against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and its outside counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP for violating a protective order in an ongoing patent lawsuit between the company and smartphone rival Apple Inc.
