SANTA ANA - A lawyer planted drugs in the car of a school volunteer who had angered his wife, then used a fake name to report the woman to police, a prosecutor told an Orange County jury Wednesday morning.
But Kent Wycliffe Easter's defense attorney countered that his client was a dupe, tricked and browbeaten by his lying wife, who actually planted the drugs.
