Heller Ehrman clawback cases could be headed for trial

Bankruptcy judge seems reluctant to decide battle between estate and firms

SAN FRANCISCO - A long-running dispute between the Heller Ehrman LLP estate and several firms that hired its former partners amid the firm's dissolution appeared headed for trial in district court after a four-hour hearing Wednesday.
