Gaikai to power cloud gaming on Samsung TVs
Orange County-based game streaming startup Gaikai Inc. has penned a deal to power Samsung Electronics Co.'s new cloud gaming service, putting Samsung in indirect competition with console makers Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

Orange County-based game streaming startup Gaikai Inc. has penned a deal to power Samsung Electronics Co.'s new cloud gaming service, allowing consumers to play video games through Samsung's Web-connected television sets without a game console, months after Samsung's hometown rival LG Electronics Inc. announced a similar service.
