The state Supreme Court has named an appellate lawyer to be the high court's top nonjudicial officer. Frank McGuire, managing attorney of the 1st District Court of Appeal, will become the newest clerk and court administrator for the Supreme Court.
McGuire replaces Fritz Ohlrich, who is retiring after 12 years as the court's top administrator.
