San Diego settles decades-old spat over border property
The city of San Diego put to rest longrunning litigation Tuesday, settling with Border Park Business Inc. and related entities over a botched 1986 development agreement with a 312-acre property near the Mexican border. In 2002 a jury had ordered the city to pay $94.5 million, which was overturned on appeal.
