Habeas petition claims sheriff's department suppressed critical evidence

A habeas petition filed on behalf of a Los Angeles Men's Central Jail inmate beaten in an altercation with deputies alleges that the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department suppressed critical exculpatory evidence.
