Attorney Gets Jail for Taking Elder's Money
LOS ANGELES - A former attorney will serve a year in jail for embezzling $150,000 from the trust of an elderly woman who once worked as Walt Disney's secretary.
Salvatore Osio, 69, was also handed a four-year stayed prison sentence and five years of probation on Wednesday by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge George Lomeli.
Osio was taken into custody immediately upon sentencing.
