Drug Maker Settles Illegal Marketing Suit for $20 Million
SAN FRANCISCO - Palo Alto-based Jazz Pharmaceuticals has agreed to pay $20 million to California and a number of other government entities over illegal marketing of a drug whose main ingredient is GHB, commonly known as "the date-rape drug," plaintiffs' lawyers said Friday.
