Brocade, A10 settle copyright, patent case

Brocade Communications Systems Inc. and rival networking company A10 Networks Inc. settled a hard-fought patent and copyright infringement trial Monday afternoon shortly before opening statements of a damages phase.

Brocade Communications Systems Inc. and rival networking company A10 Networks Inc. settled a hard-fought patent and copyright infringement trial Monday afternoon shortly before opening statements of a damages phase.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal was presiding over the trial, which was to determine additional damages on top of $60 million already awarded to Brocade for copyright infringement.
