Venture financing cools in first quarter

Venture financing dipped in the first quarter of 2013 from the year-prior period and from the fourth quarter of 2012, both by dollars raised and number of financing events, according to a recent report by Cooley LLP.

PALO ALTO - Venture capital financing dipped in the first quarter from the year-prior period and from the fourth quarter of 2012, both by dollars raised and number of financing events, according to a report released Tuesday by Cooley LLP.
