Justices Ponder Suits Against Settlements
WASHINGTON - Hearing their second class-action case of the term, the Supreme Court on Monday debated whether to allow shareholders who object to the settlement of a derivative suit, but have not intervened in the district court, to appeal a decision upholding the settlement.
