SAN DIEGO - A Superior Court judge recommended that the 4th District Court of Appeal grant a habeas corpus motion filed by four men convicted of killing a San Diego police officer, saying that a high-ranking deputy district attorney committed misconduct in his handling of the primary witness against the four.
