No Reversal for Juror's Probing
SAN FRANCISCO - A jury foreman made a mistake when he lifted a piece of tape, peeked at a booking photo underneath and deduced that a defendant had a serious rap sheet, but the error doesn't warrant the reversal of a murder conviction, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday.
