3rd DCA Adds Mediation Valve to Civil Caseload

This fall, civil cases headed to the 3rd District Court of Appeal may take a mediation detour first. The Sacramento-based court has received $424,000 from the Administrative Office of the Courts to use volunteers to work with appellants and respondents in resolving disputes.
