Circuit Lets Government Take Tax Cheat's Pension

SAN FRANCISCO - The government can seize money from a Los Angeles defendant's retirement account for restitution damages because he failed to disclose in his tax return the income he earned from selling stolen merchandise, a divided federal appeals court held Thursday.
