LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. named Long Beach the most business-friendly city in the county at its 14th annual Eddy Awards.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. named Long Beach the most business-friendly city in the county at its 14th annual Eddy Awards.

Long Beach was awarded for its $1.1 billion investment in modern infrastructure as a foundation for long-term economic prosperity. The city's Enterprise Zone benefits, expedited permit processing and planned growth-concerned civic leaders also were highlighted.
