East Bay Law School on Brink of Shutdown

The State Bar of California plans to shut down the unaccredited East Bay Law School unless it successfully pleads its case at a mid-December meeting of the Committee of Bar Examiners.

OAKLAND - It's been nearly six years since Doris Peeler-Brown opened East Bay Law School with the goal of bringing affordable legal education to a community that traditionally lacked access to law school. As of Dec. 31, that goal may reach an untimely end.
