LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Superior Court judges have announced they will redistribute nearly $1 million collected from judges' furlough and closure day salaries to court employees. The move, if followed by other trial courts, means the courts will have to look elsewhere in their budgets for the millions of dollars the state expected to save through judges' contributions.
