The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday sided with hotel workers when it denied a motion by business groups to stop an increase in minimum wage from moving forward.
The ordinance, which went into effect in July 2015, sets the wage for hotel workers at $15.37 hourly for employees at locations with more than 300 rooms.
