Retired state attorney's lawsuit revived by high court

The state Supreme Court has revived a retired deputy attorney general's putative class action against the state of California for untimely payment of wages.

The state Supreme Court has revived a retired deputy attorney general's putative class action against the state of California for untimely payment of wages.

Plaintiff and former prosecutor Janis S. McLean alleged that state government and the state Controller's Office were late in paying her and other employees who quit or retired between November 2010 and March 2011.
