Morgan Hill attorney's money laundering conviction upheld

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld the conviction of a former Morgan Hill criminal defense attorney who was found guilty of money laundering in 2015.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld the conviction of a former Morgan Hill criminal defense attorney who was found guilty of money laundering in 2015.

Jamie Harmon asked the 9th Circuit to dismiss her indictment because prosecutors had wrongly omitted information about a brokered plea deal with a witness who had incriminating evidence.
