Stephen Monaghan Kelly, the longtime court clerk of the 4th District Court of Appeal in San Diego, died early this week. He was 64.
His death was unexpected. He had called out of work sick on Monday, but had no prior known illnesses.
Administrative Presiding Justice Judith McConnell said she was shocked by his death.
