Long-Time Sinatra Lawyer Milton Rubin Dies in L.A.
Frank Sinatra's long-time attorney Milton "Mickey" Rudin died Monday . in Los Angeles. He was 79. Rudin, counsel to the late singer for more than 30 years, also represented talents Marilyn Monroe, George Burns, Lucille Ball, Elizabeth Taylor, Cher and Liza Minnelli. According to colleague and friend Jeffrey Berkowitz of Beverly Hills-based Heenan Belaikie, Rudin was one of the first attorneys to counsel his entertainment clientele, like Sinatra and Ball, in keeping the rights to their own work.
