Judge Strikes Prior Convictions in Accused Puppy Killer's Case

SAN FRANCISCO - A rare San Francisco three-strikes prosecution has been derailed by a judge's decision rejecting two prior convictions as constitutionally flawed, a move that could mean freedom as early as today for a man jailed more than two years ago after allegedly killing a dog.
