L.A. Bench Officers Elect Commissioner

LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Superior Court judges have elected Deputy District Attorney Diana Summerhayes to the bench as a commissioner. Summerhayes, a prosecutor for more than 17 years, will begin work in the court by the end of the month. She has not been told yet where her assignment will be, she said.
