OREGON'S MENTOR GRAPHICS SPENDS $103 MILLION ON IKOS
Mentor Graphics Corp. has agreed to acquire IKOS Systems Inc. in a deal worth $103 million. The deal was announced March 12. Wilsonville, Ore.'s Mentor Graphics produces and sells electronic design software. Engineers at aerospace, personal computer and consumer electronic companies use this software to design, simulate and test electronic parts that are used in computers and cellular handsets.
