Veteran L.A. Jurist to Join ARC

Aviva Bobb, best known for presiding over the McMartin preschool molestation trial, will join Alternative Resolution Centers this summer.

LOS ANGELES - Judge Aviva Bobb will be trading her judge's gavel for a mediator's cap this summer, when she signs on as a neutral with Alternative Resolution Centers.

Bobb, 63, is set to join ARC on June 1, upon retiring from the Los Angeles County Superior Court bench, where she has spent the last nine years as a supervising judge, overseeing the family law and probate departments.
