Michael Concha, 1946-2009

Michael Concha, an acting assistant Los Angeles County public defender who dedicated his 36-year legal career to L.A.'s criminal justice system, has died. He was 63.

Michael Concha, an acting assistant Los Angeles County public defender who dedicated his 36-year legal career to L.A.'s criminal justice system, has died. He was 63.

Concha died Thursday at White Memorial Medical Center during surgery to fix an ailing shoulder, Los Angeles County Public Defender Michael Judge said.
